1950′s: The trend in makeup shifted from the perfectly arched brow, painted lips and flawless face of the forties, to the ‘girl next door’…hair was softer, lips were lighter and freckles were allowed to show. Eyes and eyebrows were accented but not painted. The doe-eyed look is in AND ‘Man-Tan’ is introduced….and YES! it is exactly what you think it is…and YES!
